Well, after 7 (!:)) months of our release the "bugtaq story" got it's continuation.
Unfortunatelly I've lost all my outgoing mails whithin this thread due to hard drive crash, but even in this half-view it may be interesting.=) Also I've received a copy of one my reply to Dave Ahmad from Vladimir Katalov (thanks for keeping sent mail!! :)) - I asked him to forward this onto anti-DMCA mailing list, also thanks to hugevlad - he reminded about search abilities - the above forward is also avaliable at: http://lists.anti-dmca.org/pipermail/dmca_discuss/2002-December/004091.html

So, let's look here, here and here .
(note that all emails where modified by inserting spaces to stop autospamming).

Since my outgoing mails are lost I'd like to slightly comment this story.
I think that Americans w/ their DMCA are loosing their chance to get all in time. As I know currently many security related projects have their license restricting publishing in U$ & this may cost much for them. As about this one story - after we'll make a translation all the world 'll 've access to STP vulns & anyone-with-a-head 'll be able to dublicate our results - our work is easy. Well, due to DMCA most americans 'll be unable to be informed in proper time. As about bugtraq - them seem to try save a good face within bad game. =)
Well, hopefully now all is clear. =)
